The GeoSyntheSES Lab has research projects that are currently underway and proposed in the United States, Latin America (Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil), Africa (Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya), Asia (India, Nepal, Laos, Vietnam, Korea, Japan), and Europe (Spain, Italy). Previously the Lab has completed research projects in a diversity of locales in more than 50 countries worldwide. It’s important to add that some of the Lab’s research projects are based on data, concepts, and theory that are designed across large numbers of countries or are explicitly global in scope. Also, the research projects of the Lab encompass a variety of rural, urban, and peri-urban locations in the above-mentioned countries.
