The GeoSyntheSES Lab is dedicated to advancing policy-relevant knowledge on agrobiodiversity, land use, agri-food systems and sustainability. GeoSyntheSES is comprised of graduate students, undergraduate students, post-docs, affiliated scientists and scholars, and visitors. This mix is dynamic and welcomes diverse projects and perspectives focused on the Lab’s core interests: Agrobiodiversity & Food, Climate Change & Livelihoods, Sustainability, and Political Ecology.

The Lab space is located in Walker Building (Room 2) on the west end of the campus of Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania. The airport in State College has daily flights to Chicago, Washington, Detroit, and Philadelphia. Bus lines, vehicle parking, pedestrian routes, and bike racks and trails provide convenient connections in close proximity to the Lab.
