Megan Baumann completed her PhD dissertation on “Irrigation megaprojects and human environment geography: Remaking land-water relationships in the megaprojects of Tolima, Colombia” and is working for Women’s World Banking in New York City. Megan’s new articles include “Agrobiodiversity’s caring material practices as a symbolic frame for environmental governance in Colombia’s southern Tolima” in a special issue of Geoforum that she has co-led and organized with Gabriel Tamariz on “Agrobiodiversity in Conflict and Post-Conflict Landscapes.” As this goes to press, Megan is currently visiting and continuing her close ties to Tolima.
