– Emma’s PhD on livelihoods, agrobiodiversity, and uneven development in Mexico, MSU post-doc appointment

Emma Mullaney completed her PhD dissertation on “Working with maize: Livelihoods, agrobiodiversity, and uneven development in Mexico’s Central Highlands.” Emma has been awarded the NSF SBE Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (SPRF) to conduct research on agrobioiversity and diverse smallholder livelihoods. It is hosted by Michigan State University and is being mentored by Professor Laura Schmitt Olabisi in MSU’s Department of Community Sustainability.
