Gabriel Tamariz is completing data analyses and drafting of dissertation chapters in anticipation of final stages of his PhD in Winter/Spring 2022. Gabriel’s new article is “Agrobiodiversity conservation with illegal-drug crops: An approach from the prisons in Oaxaca, Mexico” in a special issue of Geoforum that he has co-led and organized with Megan Baumann on “Agrobiodiversity in Conflict and Post-Conflict Landscapes.” Gabriel also authored an online piece on “Growing Maize and Illicit Drugs in Oaxaca, Mexico.”
