– Two new Food, Society, and Environment courses

Karl is teaching two new courses this academic year. In the fall, he taught a special seminar to first-year undergraduates on the topic of food, society, and the environment. It was nicely challenging and yet rewarding, and he plans to teach it again next fall. This spring Karl is teaching the still new undergraduate food-society-environment course that he developed with colleagues on “The Future of Food” is an entry-level course that has enrolled more than 100 students.
